The Padfone Mini series are composed by two devices: Padfone Mini and Padfone Mini 4.3. They are two different devices, with different characteristics.
Padfone Mini http://www.asus.com/Tablets_Mobile/PadFone_mini_PF400CG/specifications/ Padfone Mini 4.3 http://www.asus.com/Tablets_Mobile/PadFone_mini_43_A11/specifications/ To avoid the inevitable confusion, we highly suggest to 'rename' the Padfone Mini 4.3 to Padfone A11. It is also called Padfone T00C.
Unfortunately, the Padfone A11 is unrootable right now. Some users have tried many root tools but the device still resist.
